Dispatcher Job Summary:

MGA Employee Services is hiring commercial Truck Dispatchers for full-time, temp-to-hire opportunities in Livermore, CA!

  • Competitive, weekly pay

  • Full-time: Monday - Friday! (2nd and 3rd shifts available)

Dispatcher Responsibilities:

  • Assign drivers routes, destinations and timelines
  • Interact with clients and drivers to keep up-to-date information on routes and schedules
  • Keep track of substitute drivers
  • Take inventory of the yard
  • Update shipment tracking system

Dispatcher Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED (Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred)
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Strong knowledge of the roadways throughout the immediate area
  • Basic computer proficiency including working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work in a team environment in high-pressure situations
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are essential
